On the Tools menu, click on Internet Options
Click on the Security tab
Click on the Internet icon in the Content Zone window
Set Medium as the Security level for this zone
Click Custom Level button and ensure the following are set to Enabled

Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins
Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting
Scripting

Click OK
Click OK again to save the changes

You may also get ActiveX errors if certain file is missing, or not registered on your computer, or you have a misconfigured system file.
